Catholic Charities launches new Mother Teresa Center facility

SAN ANTONIO - Catholic Charities announced the grand opening of their new Mother Teresa Center on Friday.

A grand opening celebration was held at the site on Friday morning, located near Callaghan Rd and Summit Pkwy.

"We are excited to open the Mother Teresa Center as part of our commitment to welcoming and supporting those in search of a new beginning in our city. We will also provide case management, a food pantry, a baby boutique and other key services on the Northwest side of San Antonio," said J. Antonio Fernandez, President and CEO of Catholic Charities.

The new facility will offer services for refugees including a food pantry, clothes closet, youth mentoring program, workforce development, ESL education, case management, and legal assistance.
