Cody Rhodes Tipped for Huge Change After Roman Reigns’ Bloodline Return, New Role Explained

Without a doubt, WWE knew the exact button to push the public to finally support Roman Reigns . After the dud that was his Big Dog gimmick with a forced booking that made him look worse than Super Cena, this new key to fan support was with the birth of his character of 'The Tribal Chief'. The gimmick was where he created the dominant faction, which is the Bloodline, and held the WWE Universal Champion for four years.

However, since his loss to the American Nightmare at WrestleMania XL, we have yet to see the Tribal Chief again in the WWE. In his absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over the group and given it a complete revamp by kicking out Jimmy Uso and recently assaulting the Wiseman, Paul Heyman . With his new teammates, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, Sikoa is looking forward to continuing as the new Tribal Chief of the Stamford-based promotion.

This truly points toward the plans for Roman Reigns to make his return to the WWE and have a showdown with Solo Sikoa, possibly positioning Reigns as the babyface of this developing narrative.

But this babyface turn would also bring some major changes for the Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes . What are the changes? Let's find out!

Roman Reigns to bring a major change for the American Nightmare In the latest edition of the F4WOnline podcast , hosts Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez talked about the latest edition of SmackDown and everything else that took place in the realm of the WWE. And it was during this conversation that they discussed the recent attack on Paul Heyman. For the unaware, the Wiseman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Chief on SmackDown, leading to him getting triple power bombed on the commentary table by Tonga, Loa, and Fatu.

This move surely wouldn't be without consequences. And with SummerSlam getting nearer, the WWE Universe is gearing for the return of the original Tribal Chief. Reigns will be all set to face the new version of the Bloodline and be a babyface all over again. However, since Rhodes is also a babyface, according to the F4W, this would mean that the two will be in different shows to avoid any clashes or divided fan attention.

They said, "Man, they built to this angle here, and man, Roman Reigns coming back. It'll be big. He's going to be a babyface on par with Cody and. It'll be different. It'll be different than Cody, but you know what I mean? In reality, they probably shouldn't be on the same show. No Roman should be on Smackdown. Cody needs to be on Raw. Cody should go back to RAW."

In a previous report, Meltzer revealed that the feud between Sikoa and Reigns would be a main event in an important PLE, such as SummerSlam or the Showcase of the Immortals. So that is enough time for Reigns' popularity to wipe out the support that Cody Rhodes gets. So a band split between the two seems like an excellent decision. What do you think?
