The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints, as the team was dismantled 44-19. To make matters worse, the team placed both star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and cornerback Trevon Diggs on the injury report.

Lamb was dealing with an ankle injury and did not practice on Wednesday. Diggs was dealing with a foot injury and did not practice also on Wednesday.

Both their playing statuses to play Week 3 were in question, but the latest injury report offers good news for both stars.

According to the final injury report for the Cowboys vs Ravens game, Lamb and Diggs were taken off the injury report and are set to play with no limitations.

Lamb recently signed a four-year, $136 million dollar contract after holding out of training camp. He put together a performance in Week 1 that included five receptions for 61 yards. Week 2 was far more productive, as the star receiver captured 90 yards and one touchdown on four receptions.

Despite a slower-than-usual start to the 2024 NFL season, Lamb has already shown that he is well worth the monster contract he received from the Cowboys. Any kind of serious injury would certainly be ill-timed, as Lamb just signed such a massive contract.

Diggs, on the other hand, is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered at the beginning of the 2023 season. Diggs secured three interceptions in 2022 and was hoping to continue his ball-hawk ways in 2023. However, he went down during practice and it was revealed that he suffered a torn ACL.

Diggs was mostly kept out of training camp but returned closer to the end of preseason. Thankfully, he was ready to go for Week 1 and has already secured an interception in just two games played.

The Cowboys' secondary clearly needs all the help it can get considering the Saints' offense was slinging the ball in every which way. Without Diggs, the secondary could be in some trouble with the pass-heavy way the league has transformed into.

Lamb and Diggs are both ready to go for Week 3, and the Cowboys will need to rebound from their big loss to the Saints. The issue is they are playing the Baltimore Ravens, who have started the season 0-2.

Expect the Ravens to play with a ton of fire and passion after starting the 2024 NFL season in such a disappointing way. However, the Cowboys are likely to play with just as much fire in order to avenge the steep loss they were just dealt.
