CPD seeking man accused of killing woman in McKinley Park

CHICAGO — Chicago police issued a community alert Thursday evening to help locate a man accused of killing a woman in a domestic shooting last month in McKinley Park.

On Oct. 13 just after 9:15 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 South Damen on the report of a shooting.

A 41-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle when a man approached her, pulled out a gun, and shot her in the head and chest, according to police.

Chicago police believes the man was Hernandez and said he frequents the areas of Brighton Park, McKinley Park, Archer Heights and Garfield Ridge.
