Crash with injuries shuts down US 29 in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — All lanes of US 29 northbound are shut down as the result of a crash with injuries on Tuesday morning, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Currently, traffic is diverted from US 29 to Market Street to English Street to Textile Drive.
Tropical system could bring impactful weather to the Carolinas
Police say that some of the areas in the detour are residential and that drivers should watch their speed in those areas.
There is no word as to what caused the crash at this time.
