Credit Card Skimming Device Discovered: Lower Makefield Crimes The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.—A credit card skimming device was found on a machine at McCaffrey's Market last Saturday.

These are the criminal incidents:
Nov. 13
THEFT FROM VEHICLE —200 block of Penn Valley Terrace, reported at 9:49 a.m. The complainant reported that a man wearing a ski mask entered the unlocked vehicles and removed $60 worth of belongings.
IDENTITY THEFT — 100 block of Haines Way reported at 2:44 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened accounts in their name and attempted to check their credit report.
Nov. 12
—Big Oak Road and Oxford Valley Road reported at 10:33 a.m. Police on patrol received an LPR hit on a stolen vehicle at the location. A felony traffic stop was conducted and the 48-year-old Vineland, N.J., man was taken into police custody for Receiving Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. A records check was conducted and he was found to have several warrants for Failure To Appear and Burglary out of Medford, N.J. He was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and sent to BCCF in lieu of $25,000 /10 percent bail.
IDENTITY THEFT —700 block of Jade Road reported at 2:12 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) used their identity to gain over $800 worth of merchandise through Verizon.
—500 block of Long Acre Lane, reported at 8:05 p.m. The complainant reported that sometime between 5-5:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence via a rear door and ransacked the residence. Watches, jewelry and a purse were reported missing. An investigation is ongoing.
Nov. 11
RETAIL THEFT —500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS, reported at 11 a.m. The store manager reported an unknown man entered the store, selected over $300 worth of merchandise, and left without paying. He fled in a dark-colored Honda. Further investigation led to the identity of the 39-year-old Fairless Hills man. A warrant was issued for his arrest for Retail Theft.
Nov. 9
ATTEMPTED THEFT —600 block of Heacock Road at McCaffrey's Market reported at 4:29 p.m. The manager reported finding a credit card skimming device on one of their credit card machines. An investigation is ongoing.
