Crews attempting to locate, repair water main break in Spartanburg Co

(WSPA) – Work crews are continuing to search for and repair a water main break in Spartanburg County.

According to Inman Campobello Water District, crews have been searching for a broken water main which is suspected to be under an area of high standing water left over from Tropical Storm Helene.

ICWD has attempted to notify all impacted customers, but due to issues with emergency phone systems, not everyone impacted may have been notified.

Customers affected by the break are located west of Interstate 26 and Highway 11 and impacted customers will notice either a drop in water pressure or no water at all in their homes.

Once the broken main is located and repaired, customers will be under a boil water advisory until water lines can be properly tested.
