Deadline arrives to sign up for Holiday in the Park parade

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner and the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce is reminding anyone who's interested that the last day to sign up to be a part of the Holiday in the Park parade is Friday, Nov. 8.

The parade kicks off the festivities in Lawton and officially marks the start of the annual Holiday in the Park event.

President and CEO of the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce John Michael Montgomery encourages anyone who's interested to come be a part of a Lawton Tradition.

"It's so exciting to be a part of it. To try and put this on every year, I really enjoy it personally," Montgomery said. "You know, trying to come up with creative new displays, come up with new things that we can add to Holiday in the Park. We want this to be something our community is proud of."
