Deadly crash shuts down eastbound Las Vegas airport connector

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash on the eastbound I-215 airport connector Wednesday morning. State troopers responded to the crash around 3:13 a.m. and located a single vehicle that had crashed into a light pole. A man was also confirmed dead at the scene. Further details about the crash were not immediately available. The westbound 215 airport connector remains open to traffic, but those heading to the airport will have to find alternate routes, such as Las Vegas Boulevard or Warm Springs. The public is advised to avoid the area and use caution when traveling nearby. An investigation into the crash is ongoing, and expected to take a few hours, according to troopers.
