LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — A Lakewood salon is back open after someone smashed several of their windows, right before the heavy snow moved in. The Saint Rose Hair Co., along Wadsworth Boulevard near Florida Avenue, said overnight on Halloween, someone smashed several of their windows and attempted to kick in their back door. Broomfield mobile home hit by speeding car, and neighbors say it isn't the first time "There was a man-sized footprint on it and they got it wedged out a little bit too so it was close but not a success," said owner Isabelle Blume. The owner doesn't think their business was targeted but had to cancel about 10-15 clients a day for several days, as the multiple days of snow made things worse. "We had our windows broken, we had them covered with cardboard and not only that, our heat went out," said Blume. "My income comes from my clients as well as everybody here. Everyone here is booth rent so if they're not working, they're not making money." The glass was fixed on Wednesday. The owner says nothing was stolen, but it was still a hit to her business. "It also feels kind of like what was that for? We don't have valuables here that would really mean anything to anybody, we don't keep cash," said Blume. "It's really disheartening with something like that happens, but then the community has been there for us so much," said Blume. "I thought we would get a couple hundred dollars and the rest would be out of my pocket, but literally, clients, family, random people donating that I've never even heard of and I'm just so thankful for that." The Lakewood Police Department said it does not have suspect information or arrests in this case yet.
