Duck Donuts will have a grand opening for its new Haymarket location Saturday, Oct. 19. Located at the Crossroads Village Center (6620 Watts Road, Haymarket), it joins two other Prince William County locations in Bristow and Woodbridge.

Husband and wife duo Dheeraj and Marylee Tuniki are the local owners of the location.

"Every year on our daughters' birthdays, they wake up to warm, fresh donuts made from Duck Donuts; we have made it a birthday tradition in our home," said Marylee Tuniki. "We're thrilled that this shop will allow us to share our family tradition with the families throughout Haymarket. We know the community will love the product just as much as we do and we look forward to serving them our warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts."

The grand opening starts at 7 a.m. Saturday. The first customer in line will receive a free dozen donuts per month for a year. The next 50 customers will receive Duck Donuts' Sprinkling Happiness Package, which includes two dozen donuts and a bucket of coffee for redemption on a future visit.

Duck Donuts is currently fundraising through its Quack Gives Back donation program for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mid Atlantic, which grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Customers can donate at the register or buy the special-edition Wish Rubber Duck.

The 1,167-square-foot location features Duck Donuts' modernized design, with an update to the brand's beach theme and family-friendly setting.
