Eagles vs. Chiefs Monday Night thread: A Kansas City win helps the 49ers

We have a Monday Night Football game that’s watchable as it’s a Super Bowl rematch between Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles .

If the San Francisco 49ers have any shot of obtaining the No. 1 seed, they’ll need the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles to slip up along the way. The 49ers play the Eagles after their “mini bye” this week. If Philly loses tonight and in two weeks, the Niners would own the head-to-head tiebreaker.

The Eagles will be without tight end Dallas Goedert tonight. Also, I’m not sure if Jalen Hurts is 100 percent healthy. He can also be prone to mistakes against the blitz.
