New Haven, Conn. (September 24, 2024) – Back for its 16th year, New Haven's longest-running foodie event, New Haven Restaurant Week , returns early this fall from October 6-11, 2024. The regionally lauded bi-annual event introduces visitors and locals to culinary excellence in the Nation's Pizza Capital, with a slate of dining offerings from 24 of the city's top restaurants.

"For the past 16 years, New Haven Restaurant Week has become one of our city's most anticipated fall traditions, marking the start of a season dedicated to coming together and celebrating around the table," says Bruno Baggetta, Director for Market New Haven. "We're incredibly thankful for the unwavering support of our sponsors, Yale University and New Haven Health. Without their commitment, this event wouldn't be what it is today."

The fall edition of New Haven Restaurant Week will feature 24 of the city's most popular restaurants, representing eight vibrant neighborhoods throughout the City. Of the 24 participating restaurants, 15 will offer $25 lunch specials, with all participating locations offering pre-fixe dinner experiences for $45 or $55 per person. Beverages, taxes, and gratuity are not included.

Off the plate, New Haven Restaurant Week gives back. Since 2009, more than $55,000 has been raised for the Connecticut Foodshare, an organization that works year-round to combat hunger and food insecurity across the state. This year, participating restaurants have donated $10,000.

The Shops at Yale will offer free two-hour parking with same-day purchases of $50 or more from participating restaurants at lots located at 255 Crown Street and 56 Broadway. Park New Haven will offer a $5 parking rate during lunch in the Crown Street and Temple Street Garages. This offer is applicable October 6-11 between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

After tasting some of the Elm City's best dishes, diners are invited to enjoy a wide range of activities across Downtown New Haven, from museums and events to shopping and theater.

On the evening of October 4, New Haven's fall Night Market returns, celebrating the vibrant New Haven community's entrepreneurs, art, music, food, and culture. To wrap up the week, the city's free Chalk Art Festival returns on Saturday, October 12, complete with work from more than 60 talented artists, a Family Fun Zone, exclusive offers to retailers and restaurants, and a raffle.

In response to the event's continued appeal and demand, patrons are strongly encouraged to make reservations in advance and check restaurants' websites for exact pricing and menus.
