Election 2024: Who are the candidates running in Lehigh Valley races?

The 2024 general election is just around the corner. While all eyes are on the presidential contest, there are a number of other important races for Lehigh Valley voters to decide, including the hotly contested race for U.S. Congress in the 7th District as well as several state legislative races.

Below is a list of candidates appearing on ballots for various races in Lehigh and Northampton counties' 315 precincts.

There are two referendums listed at the the bottom of the list: one countywide question for Northampton County's 228,000 voters, and one for the 158 voters of Chapman.

  • Voters in Northampton County can vote "Yes" or "No" on the following referendum:

    Shall the electorate of Northampton County approve a change in the Northampton County Home Rule Charter Article V, District Attorney, Section 501 to impose a term limits, on the District Attorney of Northampton County commencing with the term of office which begins in January of 2028?

    Voters in Chapman Borough can vote "Yes" or "No" on the following referendum:

    Shall the electorate of Chapman Borough approve a change to the number of members on the Council for the Borough of Chapman to be reduced from seven (7) to three (3) members?
