Entertainment & Living Fans Say Luke Bryan's 'Farm Skills Paid Off' in Video Showing Hurricane Helene's Impacts on His Tour

Fans are praising the skills Luke Bryan honed from his time working on a farm after seeing him put some of those talents to use in a new video.

The country music star sat behind the wheel of a large tractor at the start of the video, which he used to show how Hurricane Helene impacted his Farm Tour . Bryan was scheduled to perform at the Miller Family Farm in Millersport, Ohio, on Friday, Sept. 27, but had to cancel the show due to the poor weather.

"There's a lot of people in Florida and Georgia and all up the East Coast, southeast, that got the hurricane," Bryan explained in his video, which he shared on Instagram on Saturday, Sept. 28. "And we got the hurricane in Ohio, so we had to cancel the Farm Tour. Now we're pulling all the gear out."

The footage that followed showed Bryan and others traveling with his tour attaching heavy chains to tractors as they worked together to free the trailers carrying Bryan's tour equipment from the mud. In some clips included in the montage, people could be seen preparing the tractors while standing in the driving rain. It was a "good thing" that they'd had the tractors on hand to help free their gear, Bryan wrote in his Instagram caption.

"Thinking about all those impacted by the hurricane," he added.

One fan who had planned on attending Friday's show thanked Bryan for "keeping us safe last night during the wild weather" even as they noted they were "sad" to have missed a chance to see him perform.

Another fan who said they'd been "First in line" for the show agreed they were "Sad it was cancelled" while acknowledging, "it was horrible with that wind and rain."

Others applauded Bryan for his behind-the-scenes look at what it took to get his tour equipment back out on the road.

"I highly respect you for getting out there and getting dirty when you don't have to! You are still a humble country boy that don't forget your roots," one Instagram user wrote.

"Your farm skills paid off once again!! Great job! Lookin' good up there on that tractor seat!!" one fan commented as another agreed that Bryan's "experience on your farm is paying off" and added, "You look like a natural on the tractor!"
