Feels like fall: Cooler temperatures this week in Cincinnati

S.Martinez32 min ago

We get a taste of fall temperatures with dry weather and abundant sunshine in Greater Cincinnati this week.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington , some cooler and drier air will move through the Ohio Valley region for the next week. Most areas will see blue, sunny skies on Monday, leading to temperatures in the mid- to upper 60s.

Temperatures will drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s on Monday night. This could lead to some very patchy frost in low-lying, sheltered, rural areas by Tuesday morning. Temperatures will rebound during the day on Tuesday, topping out in the upper 60s again with lots of sunshine forecasted.

High pressure will remain over the region through Friday. A cold front will approach from the northwest Friday night. Low temperatures in the lower 40s will be accompanied by slightly warmer-than-normal highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

A small chance of rain may return this weekend, but a drier-than-normal pattern is expected to continue through the middle of the month.
