First responders thank good Samaritans for pulling drivers out of car after fiery accident in Holland

HOLLAND, Texas (KWTX) - The Holland Volunteer Fire Department wants to thank the good Samaritans who stopped to help two drivers after a fiery accident on FM 2268, half of a mile from Romberg intersection West. At 7: 33 a.m., authorities responded to an accident with reports of one vehicle on fire and a person pinned inside. Upon arrival, first responders said the accident looked to be a head-on collision that left one vehicle engulfed in flames. The person stuck in the fiery car had been pulled out by good Samaritans who had stopped by to help, according to authorities. The second car still had a person stuck inside it when authorities arrived. With the help of numerous citizens who stopped to help, authorities were able to get the person in the second car out. Both victims were sent to the hospital, one in an ambulance and the other was airlifted. Holland VDF said that they would like to thank all of the good Samaritans who stopped by to help.
