Fuel Spill On UES Leads To Evacuation Of NYPD’s 19th Precinct: FDNY

"It's reported that they did evacuate," a spokesperson for the FDNY told Patch. "No injuries have been reported."

A call was received at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday, authorities said, reporting a fuel spill at 153 East 67th Street between Lexington Avenue and Third Avenue.

About 100 gallons of fuel spilled at the location, according to officials, and approximately 12 units are at the scene, including 60 fire and emergency services personnel.

Operations are ongoing as of 10 a.m. on Monday, authorities said.

The NYPD's 19th Precinct serves the entirety of Manhattan's Upper East Side, from 59th Street to 96th Street.
