Route 1 Southbound Lane Closures Planned This Week Construction is planned near the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said.

MORRISVILLE, PA —A mix of daytime and overnight lane closures are planned this week along Route 1 southbound in the vicinity of the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said.

The anticipated lane closures are as follows:

  • One travel lane closed (two of three lanes open) on Route 1 south (Pennsylvania-bound) approaching the toll bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, to Wednesday, Sept. 25.
  • One travel lane closed (two of three lanes open) on Route 1 south (Pennsylvania-bound) approaching the toll bridge from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (next day) Wednesday, Sept. 25, through Friday, Sept. 27.

    • The lane closures are needed for construction-related activities taking place in the vicinity of the bridge.

    Motorists are advised to allow additional time to reach their destinations, reduce speeds, and exercise caution whenever lane closures are in effect.

    The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
