FWACC seeking information about two cats rescued after being shot by pellets

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control asking for the public's help in finding information about the person or people responsible for two injured cats. The cats were found bleeding in the 2500 block of Winch Street and the 3400 block of Central Drive last week, suffering from wounds caused by bullets, likely a pellet-type or similar gun, according to FWACC. Amputation was required and the cats are currently in the care of shelter staff. "Our team is thankful the injuries sustained were not life-threatening and these cats are being treated with help from our donor-supported Angel Fund," FWACC Shelter Director Amy-Jo sites said. "As a reminder to all, there are many humane alternatives for dealing with unwanted animals who may show up on your property."
