GALLERY: Harrisburg family loses everything in flood at apartment complex

A violent storm that blew through the Central PA area Saturday night left multiple dealing with storm damage throughout the region, including tenants at the Capital Pointe Apartments.

A local resident told me that his sister and her family, who were living in the apartment complex at the time of the storm, returned home last night to find their home had been completely flooded out.

A relative of the family told CBS21 they lost everything in the flood, including clothes for their children, who are only 2 and 3 years old.

We were told the pressure from the water shattered their back porch door, leading the flood inside.

A staircase inside the building that leads to their apartment also flooded, barring them from being able to get inside until the water receded.
