Grupo Firme to Play at Acrisure Arena

Grupo Firme will perform at Acrisure Arena Friday.

The band is currently in the midst of their "La Última Peda" tour.

Founded in 2014, the seven-member Sinaloan band found modest success with a pair of 2017 albums before exploding in popularity during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their album "Nos divertimos logrando lo impossible" earned a Latin Grammy Award in 2021.

Grupo Firme found a bit of cross-genre appeal in "Chula," their collaboration with Demi Lovato, in August, briefly eclipsing a benchmark of 20 million monthly listeners of Spotify. The band's most recognizable song, "El Amor de Su Vida" (with Grupo Frontera), peaked at No. 67 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023.

Having played in-state shows earlier this month in San Jose, Highland and Oakland, Grupo Firme is no stranger to California audiences. After taking the stage at Acrisure Arena on Friday, they will travel to concerts in Phoenix, Oklahoma City and Dallas before the tour finale at BMO Stadium.
