Whether you're just in it for the pumpkins or looking for a full day of fall-themed eats and activities, there's a variety of pumpkin patches in the Omaha area to choose from.

Here's a selection of pumpkin patches located in or near the Omaha metro, area along with their hours and pricing.

All the spots on the list offer pick-your-own pumpkins, though most also offer other attractions.

Vala's Pumpkin Patch

In its 40th year, Vala's has long been a favorite fall destination for Omaha-area families, and it adds something new every year. In addition to a pumpkin patch, the farm offers over 50 attractions, including outdoor games and amusement rides, as well as plenty of food options.

Admission: $21.99 Monday through Thursday, $39.99 Friday through Sunday. Discounted tickets are available on the Vala's website. Note that Vala's has added a new chaperone policy this year that applies to visitors 14 or younger.

Hours: Sunday-Thursday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday 9 a.m.-10 p.m. through Nov. 3.

Bellevue Berry & Pumpkin Ranch

Head to Papillion for a Wild West-themed pumpkin patch with a corn maze, children's activities and snacks.

Admission: $12 on weekdays, $20 on weekends; children 2 and under are free.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Skinny Bones Pumpkin Patch

Skinny Bones offers pick-your-own pumpkins, a corn maze and children's activities. New this year is the Pizza Patch, the pumpkin patch's second kitchen featuring homemade pizza, funnel cakes, turkey legs, churros and Franken-pretzels.

Admission: Monday-Thursday $14.95 in September and $15.95 in October, Friday-Sunday $19.95 in September and $24.95 in October.

Hours: Monday-Wednesday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Through Nov. 2.

Welch's Pumpkin Patch

For those looking for a simpler pumpkin picking experience, Welch's offers pick-your-own pumpkins, gourds, apples and grapes with no entry fee.

No admission fee; cash or check only.

Nelson Produce Farm

While Nelson's is a year-round destination for pick-your-own produce, fall activities at the farm include a pumpkin patch, haybale tower, corn maze and snacks like apple cider doughnuts and cider slushies.

Admission: $10 per person; children 3 years and younger are free.

Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Roca Berry Farm

Located south of Lincoln, Roca Berry Farm offers more than 45 attractions including a petting zoo and a new ropes course as well as nine different food locations.

Admission: Monday-Thursday, $12.95 when purchased online; Friday-Sunday, $17.95 in September and $19.95 in October when purchased online. Tickets are $2 to $3 more expensive when purchased in person.
