Dale Earnhardt Jr. is practically the third child of the house that his wife Amy has to deal with. Without the broadcasting duties this time around, Dale Jr. has made the most of this time with his theatrics at home. A few weeks back during the Ask Amy segment of the Dale Jr. Download, she unwrapped Jr.'s obsessions with candy. And it seems like Amy has got more stories about Jr.'s shenanigans at home.

Amy often shares regular updates about the happenings inside her home. The couple have two adorable daughters, Isla and Nicole, and they are quite a handful, requiring Amy's attention. But it seems like Dale Jr. has added to Amy's trouble, and this time around it's his musical taste that often leaves her frustrated.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. likes to create an atmosphere It's an open secret that the veteran NASCAR driver like to jam to his favorite tunes. He is a big fan of country music and likes to listen to music legends like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Hank Williams. Not only that, Jr. is a strong supporter of punk and rock music, and Dangerous Summer is his favorite band.

However, his musical taste has left his wife Amy in a tough spot, as he likes to bump up his jam be it morning or afternoon. "So here's the other thing about Dale he likes to turn on Heavy Rock or something like that when he first wakes up, and for me, that's going to send me into a rage, and that's gonna dictate how I act all day. He's like Yeah, let's go; let's go Tuesday, and I'm like, I'm gonna claw someone's face off." Amy shared this via Dirty Mo Media.

Dale Jr. tried to flip Amy's complaint with his reply stating, "My go-to genre is pop punk and Alternative 90's and all that stuff. I kinda crush all that in one big ball, right? If I take Amy to any concert of any of those bands, she will rock out. Have the best time, but if I turn it on at 4:00 clock in the afternoon and there's nothing else going on, she's like, Can we listen to something else?" Amy then argued that his husband doesn't read the room and goes on about his business, "Dale doesn't really read the room."

She even shared that Dale Jr. used to bump his playlist with his entourage, but those antics have toned down since he's become a father. "He used to play to his crowd back before kids. He would make these lists and have all, and he will play it out. Now he's not. I call it whiny boy music, and I'm like, dang can we go back to something a little different?"

It's fair to say that Dale Earnhardt Jr. knows how to have a good time. Be it listening to his favorite tunes or cracking up a cold one.

Dale Jr. stuck around late at Bristol hanging out with friends and fans The storyline before Jr.'s return to the Xfinity Series race at Bristol was that it could be his last one. As it turns out, the reports were true, as he confirmed that he won't return to NASCAR racing in 2025. However, he did mention he will be back racing soon, just not in 2025, as he has commitments with his new broadcasting role at Amazon.

Dale Jr. was on a mission to redeem himself after a cockpit fire spoiled his 2023 Bristol race. And he did somewhat manage to achieve that; with a P7 finish to his name, he was quite content with the results. Giving props to the young drivers for outsmarting him on the racetrack. He also had a good battle with Ryan Truex for the fifth spot, but he had to concede that after he was under pressure from Brandon Jones.

It was indeed a special night for NASCAR fans as well as the drivers on the track, who witnessed Dale Jr. in action. It is indeed a rare sight to see him race in NASCAR, so everyone was just soaking in the feeling of being in the presence of NASCAR's favorite personality. The 49-year-old did his bit to keep the spirit high after the race and shared a beer with his team and drivers from the Xfinity garage.
