‘Into the Forest’ Bright Nights Ball this Saturday at MGM Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The annual Bright Nights Ball is being held at MGM Springfield this Saturday with more than 500 guests.
The City of Bright Nights Ball is the Spirit of Springfield's largest annual fundraiser and helps to support the organization's efforts to bring the community together in celebration. Some of the organization's events include the World's Largest Pancake Breakfast, Bright Nights at Forest Park, and the Star Spangled Springfield.
Springfield lodge honors 2024 Elk Veteran of the Year
This black-tie-only gala is sponsored by Charlie Arment Trucking and will have an 'Into the Forest' theme, where the decorations will include displays from Bright Nights at Forest Park, centerpieces featuring greens and lit trees, and a 47-foot wide by 10-foot tall screen in the Aria Ballroom.
The gala begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. Music will be performed by Groove Authority, a Boston-based band. There will also be performances by The Eric Bascom Trio, Richie Mitnick, Joe Saimeri, and Vanessa Ford.
Guests include Congressman Richard Neal, Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno, Charlie Arment Trucking President Will Arment, and representative for the Arment Family, and Spirit of Springfield President Judith Matt.

"Our family has been supporting the organization for more than 30 years. We were especially proud of the part we played in Springfield's September 11th Monument."
The Bright Nights at Forest Park's 30th season opens Wednesday, November 27th with over 750,00 lights displayed throughout a three-mile drive.
