Ivanka Trump to attend election night party at Mar-a-Lago: sources
While Ivanka Trump has stayed far away from the campaign trail , we hear the former first daughter will be by Donald Trump's side tonight.
A source tells us that Ivanka, 43, will join Donald, 78, at his Florida private club Mar-a-Lago.
According to the New York Times , Trump booster and Tesla billionaire Elon Musk will also be at Mar-a-Lago for an election night event that'll include a "dinner for a small number of donors... and an even smaller gathering for those who will hang out with him during the evening."
However, another source tells us that outside Trump's inner circle there are also "groups" of people headed to the club — who are being taken there by a "caravan of buses" from a local Hilton hotel.
"There is crazy security," said a source en route. "The bomb sniffing dogs came on the bus."
Ivanka, who served as an advisor to her father while he was in the White House, and her husband Jared Kushner, have been noticeably absent from his campaign.
Ivanka's brothers, Don Jr. and Eric, have been more prominent fixtures on the campaign trail.
Last week Kushner, 43, told the Times there was "zero" chance they would be stepping in for the final stretch and he added that Ivanka, "made the decision when she left Washington that she was closing that chapter of her life. And she's been remarkably consistent."
"Obviously the world is different for us over the next four years if her father is president," Kushner, also a former White House adviser, said.
"We're rooting for him — obviously, we're proud of him," he said. "But, you know, either way, our life will just continue to move forward."
A rep for Ivanka did not comment.
A source previously told Page Six that the couple "spent four years focused on their work in the White House, and [Ivanka and Jared] are now enjoying their life in Miami, raising three growing children, spending time and living close to family."
Following Trump's announcement he would run again in 2022, Ivanka stated on Instagram : "I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics."
We're told that following Mar-a-Lago, everyone will be heading to the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., for the Trump campaign's official election night.
