On Week 3's edition of Monday Night Football, Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders went into Cincinnati and defeated Joe Burrow and the Bengals 38-33.

Daniels, a former LSU Tigers star, had the best game of his young NFL career, completing all but two of his 23 pass attempts for 254 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 39 yards and another score on the ground. He capped his performance off with a game-sealing touchdown drive in the final minutes.

After the game, Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase spoke to the media and discussed the game, giving the rookie quarterback his flowers in the process.

"He's a great f'ing player," Chase said. "I'm not gonna lie. That was my first time sitting down and watching him besides the Spring game. He's a very outstanding player."

Like Daniels, Chase also had his best game of the 2024 season, recording six catches for 188 yards and his first two touchdowns of the season.

Through three weeks, Daniels has led the Commanders to first place in the NFC East, holding the tiebreaker with the Philadelphia Eagles. In those contests, Daniels has completed 61 passes for 664 yards and five total touchdowns, two through the air and one on the ground.

Daniels and the Commanders own a 2-1 record following the Monday night win, with a trip to Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals on the horizon. The Bengals remain winless through three games and will get the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, NC, in Week 4.
