Friday's Five Facts [1] Police ID victim in fatal downtown shooting as tattoo shop owner – Police continue searching for a suspect after the owner of a downtown tattoo shop was found dead inside his business. Police say John "Bale" Sisneros was killed around 8:30 a.m. at Por Vida Tattoo at Coal and 4th St. APD released a photo of a man who they say is a person of interest. [2] New video shows scene BCSO deputies showed up to after Tijeras triple homicide – Deputies responded to a call about gunshots in Tijeras and were instantly met by 24-year-old Adlai Mestre. Deputies secured his weapon, which Adeli admitted to using to kill his family. Deputies found Mestre's parents and 17-year-old sister dead. Deputies took Mestre into custody and charged him with multiple counts of murder and tampering with evidence.

[3] Mild & windier weather before next storm – From the morning school commute on into the afternoon, temperatures will mostly be warmer than yesterday, allowing for even more snowmelt in the mountains, especially in the surrounding lower-elevation communities. Out in front of our next storm system this weekend, today will be warmer, drier, and windier, then some precipitation will ensue later tomorrow into early Monday with temperatures dropping, setting the stage for a possible quick-hitting storm system impacting a few areas towards the middle of next week.

[4] Former state senator and Balloon Fiesta founder Tom Rutherford dead at 77 – Former New Mexico state senator Tom Rutherford died earlier this week from natural causes at the age of 77. He served in the Roundhouse from 1972 to 1996. His son remembers him as a great father and leader who loved New Mexico He also served as majority leader and was a Bernalillo county Commissioner.

[5] Visit Albuquerque unveils ten year plan – Visit Albuquerque has unveiled its new, ten year plan. The plan was created with the input and advice of more than 2,300 stakeholders in the city. It includes expanding collaborations between the tourism industry and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center as well as forming more partnerships with the city and state to support unique experiences centering on Native American Culture. Visit Albuquerque also plans to further promote the city's diverse culinary scene.
