Leonardo DiCaprio ditches the models to party with his peers as he celebrates 50th birthday with Paris Hilton, 43, Katy Perry, 40 and his long-time buddies

Leonardo DiCaprio got his 50th birthday celebrations off to an early start on Saturday night as he threw himself a lavish party with a star-studded guest list.

And making sure to turn heads on arrival, Paris Hilton showed off her sensational figure in a daring silver sequin gown as she made her way inside.

Pop star Katy Perry and model Cara Delevingne were also seen pulling up to the bash to mark the Oscar winning actors landmark birthday.

Paris looked incredible in the long sleeved figure hugging number which boasted a cut out displaying her waist and an eye catching thigh high split.

She put on a leggy display in a pair of towering stilettos and draped a styling white fur wrap over her shoulder.

Styling her long blonde tresses in a neat up do, Paris completed her party ensemble by toting her belongings in a silver Chanel handbag.

Meanwhile Katy stunned in a satin white cowl neck maxi dress as she was seen arriving at the party.

The Roar songstress left her long dark tresses loose and accessorised with a pair of dazzling eye catching earrings.

She seemed in good spirits as she seen pulling up to the bash with an open bottle of champagne tucked into the cars drink holder.

Cara cut a smart figure in a black blazer as she kept a low profile on arrival by hiding her face from cameras with her hand.

Meanwhile Robin Thicke and rapper Tyga looked in high spirits as they arrived at the event.

Leonardo's father George, 81, and his rarely seen stepmum Peggy Farrar flashed their smile as they pulled up to celebrate the Titanic stars big day.

Damson Idris dressed smart in a black open short sleeved shirt which over a plain T-shirt and a pair of grey jeans.

Anderson Paak looked ready for a night of partying as he rolled down his car window while wearing a navy blazer and sunglasses.

Last year during Leonardo's 49th birthday party the Hollywood star was the life and soul of the bash as he performed a rap and danced in front of a star-studded crowd.

Leo was seen being hoisted on a chair at the gathering, and later rapping into a microphone to the 1994 song DWYCK from Gang Starr and Nice & Smooth.

If the stars 49th birthday is anything to go by – he is as infamous for his Great Gatsby-style partying as for the endless rotation of starlets on his arm – his 50th will be even more epic, even by the standards of a town used to celebrity excess.

Ahead of his birthday a producer who worked with the actor, who commands £20 million a movie, said: 'Everyone in town jokes about 'Leo's Law' because whenever you see him, he looks older but the women on his arm look exactly the same. They're usually blonde, always great-looking and half his age. My Tupperware is older than some of his girlfriends!'

The producer said: 'Leo's parties are legendary. Last year he took over a private event space in Beverly Hills and everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyonce and Jay-Z to Kim Kardashian were there.

'Leo is usually on the sidelines, surrounded by beautiful young women, quietly watching and observing. But last year was a shocker because he got up and started rapping, which is the only time I've seen him put the spotlight on himself.'

Leo's official date for his 50th will be Victoria's Secret model Vittoria Ceretti.

The pair recently celebrated their first anniversary and Vittoria, 26, is the first long-term girlfriend to break 'Leo's Law' and survive his 25-year-old 'cut off'.

His romances with the likes of Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, Erin Heatherton and Nina Agdal all ended before their 25th birthdays.

Before Vittoria, he spent five years with TV actress Camila Morrone who starred in Amazon's hit musical drama series Daisy Jones & The Six, but ditched her just weeks before she turned 25.

Then came a brief fling with model Gigi Hadid (an 'ancient' 27) who was rapidly followed by 23-year-old starlet Victoria Lamas, prompting her father, actor Lorenzo Lamas, to quip: 'I told her to treat the relationship like a holiday. Enjoy it as much as you can for as long as it lasts.'

The relationship imploded after a couple of months.

Leo met current girlfriend Vittoria at the Cannes Film Festival in May last year but the pair reportedly did not become serious until around 12 months ago.

The producer said: 'He and Vittoria seem happy but she's 'old' by his standards. Perhaps she's the one who will finally get him to settle down? I doubt it.'
