Man accused of slashing, shoving ex-girlfriend onto subway tracks in NYC: sources

HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) — A man is accused of slashing his ex-girlfriend in the face before pushing her onto the train tracks in a Manhattan subway station, according to police and sources.

Michael Blount, 29, allegedly attacked the 37-year-old woman while she was waiting for a train at the West 125 St- St. Nicholas Avenue subway station in Harlem at 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 5, according to the NYPD.

Blount is accused of grabbing his former girlfriend's hair before cutting her in the face several times and shoving her onto the tracks, sources said. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect ran off after the incident and remained at large as of Friday, police said. Blount is described as 5'9" and around 185 pounds, cops said.
