Middletown laces up for the The Connecticut Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Run

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hundreds of runners laced up their shoes Sunday morning in Middletown to show their support for police and their families at the Connecticut Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Run.

Runners met at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown and were treated to an afterparty at the Stubborn Beauty Brewing Company.

The Memorial Run, a chip-timed and certified 5K, is celebrating its 14th year of contributing to the safety efforts of Connecticut police.

The CT LEO has raised more than $100,000 for the National Law Enforcement Memorial and Museum as well as to support families of the fallen. Anyone who missed out on this year's race can learn more about the CT LEO and sign up for next year here .
