Minor league update for 9/19/24

Kohl Drake started Game 2 of the Texas League Division Series between Frisco and Midland. Drake went five shutout innings, striking out six and walking one, allowing just two hits. Bryan Magdaleno allowed a pair of solo homers in 0.2 IP. Josh Sborz struck out one in a scoreless inning. Skylar Hales struck out two in a scoreless inning. Dane Acker struck out two in three innings, allowing one Zombie Runner to score and preventing another Zombie Runner from scoring.

Abi Ortiz was 1 for 3 with a walk. The one hit was a two out, two strike home run in the bottom of the ninth, which tied the game when Frisco was one strike away from elimination. He also brought home the game-winning run on a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th.

Cody Freeman homered. Alejandro Osuna had a hit.
