OKCPD announces traffic safety enforcement schedule

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma City Police Department on Friday, announced in partnership with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol a traffic safety enforcement event alerting Oklahomans to drive safe.

According to police officials, the traffic safety enforcement event will begin next week, November 17th – 23rd, enforcing traffic violations on Lake Hefner Parkway (NW 63rd – NW 150th), and Broadway Extension (Memorial – NW 63rd).

Authorities say research has found that a significant number of drivers are doing dangerous speeds in these areas.
