Oregon under a winter storm warning until Monday night – up to 8 inches of snow

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday valid from 4 p.m. until Monday 10 p.m. for Clackamas County Cascade Foothills, Cascade Foothills of Marion and Linn counties and Lane County Cascade Foothills.

The weather service states, "Total snow accumulations of 2 to 8 inches, with up to 14 inches above 2500 feet. And up to one inch below 2000 feet."

"Travel could be very difficult," describes the weather service. "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency."
