The Kansas City Chiefs look to remain in the win column when they face the Los Angeles Charges on September 29.

While the Chiefs entered Week 4 undefeated, and were considered seven-point favorites to defeat the Chargers, Kansas City lost Rashee Rice, their No. 1 wide receiver to a knee injury in the first quarter. Rice was carted off the field after colliding with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Despite the huge setback, Mahomes and Co. kept the game competitive. While Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, traveled to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the AFC West showdown, as did his younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, the quarterback's mother, Randi Mahomes, was noticeably absent.

While Randi was not at the game in person, she was still watching her son play from afar, along with her father, Randy, and daughter, Miami.

Randi posted on X, "Watching game with daddy today... prayers please for my dad."

Chiefs Kingdom immediately flooded her post with prayers and well-wishes. Earlier this month, Randi revealed that her father's health was in decline. She posted on September 13, "Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy. He is in the hospital and is not well."

The heartbreaking news comes less than two years after Randi's mother, Debbie Bates Martin, died. Randi was incredibly close with her parents, who raised her in Troupe, a small town in East Texas. The bio section of her QB Producer website states, "Randi believes that her humble, tight-knit town and her parents made her the woman she is today."
