Pittsburgh Steelers tight end pops up once again with nagging knee injury

W.Johnson2 hr ago
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end MyCole Pruitt popped up on Wednesday's injury report with a nagging knee injury that held him out of practice. The Steelers have tried holding Pruitt out on certain practices to give the injury rest.

Pruitt first suffered the knee injury in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos and missed four games. He has since dealt with assorted knee soreness over the week after games but has played in every game since returning from the injury.

The Steelers played with four tight ends throughout any given game, and Pruitt is one of the team's top blockers who helped churn their run game throughout an afternoon, especially late in the game when the spaces get tight.

This is likely not anything to be super concerned about, considering Pruitt has taken days off over the last few weeks and still played on Sunday.
