Plenty of basketball slated for the Greensboro Coliseum this season

There will be plenty of basketball to see this season at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, and not just the Greensboro Swarm.

College basketball occupies much of the schedule for the 2024-25 season, beginning with UNC Greensboro hosting Florida Gulf Coast on Monday, Nov, 4. The Spartans, who play their Southern Conference games at the coliseum, will have seven more ganes inside the coliseum during the year.

The Swarm open their home season in the NBA G-League on Nov. 13 at Novant Health Fieldhouse.

Wake Forest commutes from Winston-Salem to Greensboro on Nov. 10 to play Michigan. Five days later, the North Carolina women will host UConn, and five days after that, Guilford College faces Greensboro in a men's and women'd doubleheader.

Appalachian State comes down the hill while High Point makes a short drive to square off for a men's game on Dec. 14 at Novant Health Fieldhouse. High Point will also play UNCG in the coliseum on Dec. 3.

The schedule will be capped with the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament beginning on March 5, 2025.
