Police Make Arrests For Retail Theft, Drug Possession In Warrington Philadelphia man charged with felony retail theft. Another Philadelphia man faces drug possession charges following a traffic stop.

Police observed two suspicious men in the area of the Staples store. The men entered a vehicle and proceeded to the Creekview Shopping Center, where they continued to act suspiciously, visiting different stores before leaving about an hour later, police said. The officer followed the vehicle, which committed several traffic violations and subsequently stopped the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of stolen merchandise from multiple locations. The investigation revealed that a 48-year-old man, Ramon Antonio Lugo from Philadelphia, stole $194.63 worth of merchandise from TJ Maxx. Lugo was arrested and transported to the police station where he was processed and released. He is charged with felony retail theft and receiving stolen property.November 5
A Holland man was arrested on Nov. 5 and charged in connection with a traffic stop that took place in September. During a traffic stop for having window tint on the front windshield, the 37-year-old driver presented his license, which indicated that he is required to have an Ignition Interlock Device on any vehicle he operates. However, when questioned about it, the driver told police that he was not required to have the device. The officer verified with PennDOT and confirmed that the driver was required to have the ignition interlock. Further investigation revealed that the inspection stickers on the vehicle were counterfeit. He is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock, windshield obstruction and wipers, violations of the use of a certificate of inspection and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.November 8
A police officer conducted a traffic stop at Easton Road and County Line Road. During the stop, the officer observed narcotics in plain view in the rear seat of the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional narcotics and four digital scales. The 24-year-old driver from Philadelphia was taken into custody and transported to the police station for processing. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked and windshield obstruction and wipers.
