Pregnant Olympia Valance reunited with missing family member - after turning to a psychic for help: 'We had lost all hope'

Olympia Valance has been reunited with her treasured pet cat Jerry.

The 31-year-old beauty reported the beloved feline missing on October 15 and over the past four weeks went to great lengths to recover the animal.

At one point the former Neighbours star even consulted a 'pet psychic' in an effort to discover the location of her furry family member.

Olympia, who is expecting her first child with husband Thomas Bellchambers, has gone to drastic lengths to find Jerry including offering a $500 reward for the recovery of the pet.

But it was a kindly stranger who came to the rescue reported the Herald Sun last Sunday.

It appears that after going missing in the Greenvale area, Jerry the Cat found refuge under a house.

The publication said that after about a week the distressed puss was lured from his safe space.

He was then taken to a rescue centre where he was reunited with Olympia on Saturday.

'I can't believe I am writing this! I feel like I am dreaming,' the actress reported after the long awaited reunion.

'Jerry had been missing for four weeks and we had lost all hope that we would ever see our boy again.

'But today we got a call saying that Jerry was brought into a pet rescue after being found half an hour away from where we live.'

Olympia shared with her followers that Jerry appeared delighted to be back at home and reunited with his (feline) sister Whiskey.

She continued: 'Thank you to everyone who walked the streets with me calling his name night and day, putting up posters everywhere, shared posts online and making (made) sure I was okay.

'HE'S HOME!!!!!! An absolute miracle.'

It comes after Olympia's mother Tania Gogos-Wilson shared how the missing pet had plunged her daughter into emotional turmoil.

'She goes to bed crying and wakes up crying walking the streets at all hours calling his name,' Tania told the Herald Sun .

'She's done everything she can to the point she is even having a pet psychic reading. It's more the not knowing what's happened. I'm so sad for her being the last months of her pregnancy.'

It comes as the Australian model revealed she suffered several miscarriages before falling pregnant earlier this year .

Olympia announced her pregnancy in August after hiding it on social media until the 25-week mark.

She told a recent issue of Stellar Magazine that she was so obsessed with having a baby that she let her career slide.

'It's been four years of just thinking about babies. I completely lost myself,' the Neighbours star told the publication.

Olympia, who rose to fame when she joined Neighbours as Paige Smith in 2014, engaged Tom in October 2021.

The pair began dating in June 2019 after meeting him on the ultra-exclusive celebrity dating app, Raya.
