Sports Robert Griffin III's Response To Florida State's Victory Is Going Viral

The Florida State Seminoles picked up their first win of the season in Week 4 after securing a 13-9 victory over the California Golden Bears.

Following their win over the Golden Bears, former ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III took to social media to share his reaction. Griffin posted a meme of a smiling baby with an FSU logo on the beanie.

Griffin has been vocal about his support for the Seminoles this season, but Florida State hasn't necessarily proven him right.

Before securing the win over California, the Seminoles were 0-3 with losses to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Boston College Eagles and Memphis Tigers.

Griffin's post received over 20k views in less than 20 minutes at the time of this writing.

FSU has been favored in every game this season, including a double-digit edge over their opponent in Week 0 against Georgia Tech and Week 1 against Boston College.

They've struggled on the offensive end, but their win over Cal featured a different story. The Seminoles finally had life on offense; they went 7-of-17 on third down and were able to match the Golden Bears for 107 yards on the ground.

Florida State also benefitted from a dominant performance on the defensive end. They forced California into 10 penalties in the game, secured a timely interception and controlled the line of scrimmage all game.

The Seminoles will now look to revive their season and spark a win streak. After playing three straight games in Tallahassee, Florida State will travel to SMU to take on the Mustangs on Sept. 28.

Florida State may not be in contention to compete for the College Football Playoff, but a strong push in conference play can help them compete for the ACC title.
