Sift Bake Shop, A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons To Open At Mohegan Sun A popular bakery and a boutique cocktail bar will be the newest additions to the resort casino next year.

MONTVILLE, CT — If you've got a sweet tooth, then Mohegan Sun has you covered: Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons are coming to the resort casino in spring 2025.

Chef Adam Young's popular Sift Bake Shop will be located at the Winter Entrance. Described as a family-owned French inspired bakery, the Mohegan store will be the brand's fourth in New England.

Sift Bake Shop specializes in "scratch-made signature desserts, artisanal breads, pastries, macarons, and more. All items are all made in-house daily celebrating the freshest ingredients and modern techniques, with a nod to the traditional foundations of classic pastry," according to a statement.

Young owns and operates the establishment as well as the A.T.Y Hospitality brand.

"Adam Young has been a big part of our annual Sun Wine & Food Fest every January, and we're so pleased to start this new chapter with he and his wife, Ebbie – in launching a Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons here at Mohegan Sun!" Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun, said in a statement. "We have always been impressed by Sift Bake Shop and the expanded concepts this team has rolled out, and we can't wait to bring them to Mohegan Sun guests this spring!"

A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons is "a boutique cocktail bar that inspires elegance in everyday life," according to the statement. The bar features a list of signature cocktails, bonbons, and confections.

­­­­­­In 2016, husband-and-wife team Adam and Ebbie Young decided to pursue their own business endeavors and opened Sift Bake Shop in Mystic.

Since opening Sift Mystic, the flagship store has undergone extensive renovations, and new locations have been added in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and Niantic.

"We are committed to delivering outstanding products, and genuine hospitality," Young said in a statement. "Sift Bake Shop and the entire A.T.Y Hospitality umbrella are beyond excited to deliver our 'achievable luxury' to the discerning guests of Mohegan Sun."

Young has earned numerous accolades over the years, including being a finalist in Food Network's 2017 Spring Baking Competition, winning Food Network's 2018 Best Baker in America award, and being featured multiple times at the James Beard house.
