Back Mountain Little League will hold a board meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6 at the Daddow-Isaacs American Legion, Route 415, Dallas. The general meeting, open to the public, will be held at 8 p.m.

LACROSSE SIGN-UPS

Back Mountain Youth Lacrosse will hold final sign-ups for spring lacrosse for boys and girls, grades 3 through 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2014 at the Dallas American Legion. Anyone unable to attend sign-ups can download a form at www.BMYLAX.com.

BASEBALL CLINIC

A winter baseball clinic will be held outdoors on artificial turf Sundays from Jan. 5 through March 30 at the Rock Rec. Center’s Tennis & Swim Club (formerly Valley Tennis & Swim).

Ages 12 and under will participate from 1 to 2 p.m. and ages 13 and up will participate from 2 to 3 p.m. Each session is limited to 10 players.

Cost is $100 for all 13 (weather depending) sessions or $15 per individual session.

There are 70 foot batting cage, 100 swing per person, fundamentals (minimum 50 reps) and a strong focus on form and repetition.

The clinic will be instructed by Chip Sorber, former head coach of King’s College and Lake-Lehman High School baseball teams.
