Stray of the Day: Meet Jessie

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Meet today's Stray of the Day: Jessie.

Jessie is a four-to-six-month-old female Dachshund mix puppy that weighs about 25 pounds.

She was found at the intersection of Pierce and 5th Streets.

The rescue says she's a clever and playful pup who is super friendly with people and other animals, but will need some basic training as she grows up.

If you know Jessie, please let her owners know she's at Sioux City Animal Adoption and Rescue. Otherwise, she'll be available for adoption on October 22.
