Teacher Spotlight: Larry Dipalma Makes A Difference In Fairfield

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr DiPalma has a way about his teaching. Our daughter is dyslexic and came from a special ed school in Greenwich, Eagle Hill, to Notre Dame high school. Kota had an extreme learning issue, especially with math. Mr. DiPalma had her freshman year, and he kept his expectations high of her. His teaching style is phenomenal, and he makes sure that the students understand every step. He has a calm, nurturing and simple way about him and his teaching. Kota has never enjoyed math so much, not to mention what an over achiever she is in the class. Mr DiPalma sends out newsletters weekly to update the parents too. You don't find this in too many high schools. He is 100% for the students and addresses whatever needs they have.
