Teen dies days after crash near Columbia
DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A second person is dead days after a multi-vehicle crash in eastern Houston County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the 16-year-old was pronounced dead at a Dothan hospital on Wednesday, November 6.
The 16-year-old was injured in a crash on Friday, October 25.
Troopers say the 16-year-old was a passenger in a Chevrolet Tahoe, which was driven by another 16-year-old. The Tahoe and a Dodge Journey collided on Highway 52 at July Road, west of Columbia.

After the initial crash, both vehicles struck a tractor-trailer.
Both of the 16-year-olds were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Neither of the teens has been publically identified.
A passenger in the Dodge Journey, 83-year-old Curtis Moore, was killed and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Journey, Quinlavan Thomas, 37, of Dothan, was injured and transported to a Dothan hospital for medical treatment. A 5-year-old child, who was also a passenger in the Journey, was also injured and transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
