Texarkana asks residents for help with ‘Fall Sweep’
TEXARKANA, Texas ( KTAL/KSHV )—The community is being asked to participate in a city-wide clean-up this weekend.
Keep Texarkana Beautiful is hosting a 'Fall Sweep' from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 28th.

They will work with volunteers and the City of Texarkana to target specific parts of the community. There will be a roll-off at four of those targeted sites, including:
Rosehill, Community Center (1303 Milam St, Texarkana, TX 75501)
New Town, Polly Chapel Baptist (2123 Spruce St, Texarkana, TX 75501)
Beverly, Community Center. (901 Lumpkin St, Texarkana, TX 75501)
Liberty-Eylau, Findley Park
They want to remind residents that batteries, tires, paint, and large appliances like refrigerators and washing machines are not permitted in roll-off containers. For more information, don't hesitate to contact the Planning and Community Development Department at (903) 798-3904.
