The 'divine' Christmas decor buy nobody believes is from Kmart Australia - and it's just $15

Kmart has outdone itself this year with a range of luxurious Christmas buys inspired by the season's top trends.

And the latest glass candle drop has diehard fans desperately trying to get their hands on one.

The gorgeous glowing festive season candles create that perfect cosy ambience in the home and come in two delightfully nostalgic scents: gingerbread and Christmas spice .

Then, as the double wicks start to burn, a 'glowing scene' comes to life on the outside in the form of a 'cutesy' holiday home.

The best part? They cost just $15.

The gingerbread option, made with both soy and paraffin wax, has top notes of spice and cinnamon and middle and base notes of ginger, nutmeg and vanilla.

For a sweeter, fruitier alternative, the Christmas spice has top notes of apple and peach and middle and base notes of clove, cinnamon, vanilla and tonka bean.

The candles, which have been compared to designs costing $40 and above, have been an instant hit and are already starting to sell out in Aussie stores.

'I bought the red candle and it not only looks amazing, it smells divine,' a fan gushed.

'Have both of these candles and they are stunning. Too pretty to burn. Kmart is definitely punching with these,' another wrote.

However, many shoppers expressed disappointment that the department store still hasn't committed to 100 per cent soy candles and cited health concerns about the use of paraffin wax.

As with all candles, they should be placed in larger, decently ventilated spaces - especially if smoke is visible.

'So sorry to disappoint,' a Kmart spokesperson wrote to a concerned shopper.

'We've noted your feedback as we work to enhance our product quality and design.'

Kmart has an impressive Christmas and gifting assortment this season, with the beauty advent calendars already so popular they are almost impossible to find in some suburbs.

The products hit the shelves as part of the 2024 range with a variety of beauty calendars on offer packed with makeup, skincare and fragrance dupes.

Claudia, from Melbourne , bought the OXX Cosmetics Summer Solstice 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar, which is filled with a mixture of beauty items that are similar to Sol de Janeiro.

'This year has gone so quickly I feel like it was yesterday I was doing my advent calendar series [from 2023],' she said in a video.

'This is the perfect gift.'

The $30 buy was filled with body wash, fragrances, lip gloss and body butter.

Michael, from Adelaide , also shared a video reviewing the the $22 OXX Cosmetics 12 Day Beauty Box Makeup Advent Calendar and OXX Skincare 12 Piece 12 Days Advent Calendar Lip Collection.

'Kmart have a few different advent calendars this year,' Michael said before opening both.

He was instantly impressed by the OXX Cosmetics version and described it as 'super cute'.

The makeup option was filled with nail polish, mascara, blush, lip liner, bronzer, highlighter and lipstick while the skincare option had a variety of lip oil and lip balm.

Alternatively there are standard advent calendars filled with chocolate as well as a version stuffed with small plush toys.

Other Christmas buys include a $15 Mini Gingerbread Man Waffle Maker, $8 Christmas Pudding Basket and $16 two-tone red and green Coupe Glasses.

There are also a variety of Christmas trees on offer ranging from $5 for a 90cm option up to $149 for a 2.4m Cashmere Pre-lit Christmas Tree.
