Three residential structures damaged, one a total loss following Friday evening fire

COMANCHE CO., Okla. (KSWO) - Comanche County Emergency Management has released an update after initial response operations have been demobilized.

According to emergency management, approximately 80 acres were burned on the county side with approximately 893 acres being burned on the Fort Sill side.

A preliminary damage report shows three total residential structures were damaged with one of those structures being deemed a total loss. The other two sustained minor damage due to exposure.

Indiahoma Fire Department continues monitoring and extinguishing hot spots and performing mop-up operations.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation with no injures being reported.
