Carlos M. Castillo

Carlos Manuel Castillo, son of Huascar and Mary Castillo of Hanover
Township, is celebrating his fifth birthday today, Sept. 19. Carlos is the
grandson of Dr. Huascar and Joan Castillo, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and the late
John and Caroline Litchkowski.
Katlynn Leonard

Katlynn Leonard, daughter of Suzanne Leonard of Nuangola and Eric Leonard
of Wilkes-Barre, is celebrating her 11th birthday today, Sept. 19. Katlynn is
the granddaughter of the late Lewis and Alberta George and the late Anthony
and Lorraine Leonard. She has three brothers, Christopher, 16, Stephen, 13,
and Daniel, 6.

Justus A. Wanyo

Justus Anne Wanyo, daughter of Sara Wanyo of Wilkes-Barre and John Walski
of Hanover Township, is celebrating her ninth birthday today, Sept. 19. Justus
is a granddaughter of Ned and Joan Blaum and Mike and Debby Walski, all of
Hanover Township. She is a great-granddaughter of Peg Blaum and John and Rose
Walski, all of Wilkes-Barre; Betty Hamrick, Hanover Township; the late Michael
and Anne Kosloski; and Edward Blaum. Justus has two brothers, Torrence Peck
Jr., 5 months, JJ Walski, 7, and a sister, Kailey Walski, 5.

Ronald P. Melodick III

Ronald Peter Melodick III, son of Ronald and Roxann Melodick of
Wilkes-Barre, is celebrating his fourth birthday today, Sept. 19. Ron is the
grandson of Richard and Rita Shuleski and Margaret Melodick, all of
Wilkes-Barre, and Ronald Melodick, Larksville. He is the great-grandson of
Margaret Danko, Plains Township; Lena Ribolini, Dallas; the late Louis
Ribolini; and the late John and Catherine Shuleski. Ron has a sister, Ashley,


Nicholas Yuhas

Nicholas Yuhas, son of Bill and Josie Yuhas of Hughestown, is celebrating
his fifth birthday today, Sept. 19. Nicholas is a grandson of Stephen and Mary
Jule Yuhas, Swoyersville, and the late Dominick and Agnes Sarti. He has two
brothers, Billy, 21, and Stephen, 7, and a sister, Angela, 19.

Paige E. Tavella

Paige Elizabeth Tavella, daughter of Jeff and Maria Tavella of Laurel Run,
celebrated her fifth birthday Sept. 16. Paige is the granddaughter of Bill and
Marion Koneski, Carol Tavella and Anthony Tavella, all of Plains Township. She
is the great-granddaughter of Anna Pientka, Plains Township. Paige has a
brother, Dominick, 2.

Noah X. Norkunas

Noah Xavier Norkunas, son of Julie Smith of Edwardsville, celebrated his
fifth birthday Sept. 18. Noah is the grandson of Francis and Bonnie Norkunas,
Ashley; Carol Smith, Edwardsville; and the late Clarence Smith. He is the
great-grandson of Sophie Norkunas, Ashley. Noah has a sister, Lilith Mae, 1.
