Travis Scott touches down in Sydney on a private jet as he brings his Circus Maximus world tour to Australia

Travis Scott cut a low-key figure as he touched down at Sydney Airport via private jet on Thursday for the Australian leg of his Circus Maximus world tour.

The American rapper, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, arrived in Sydney just hours before his gig at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday evening.

Scott, 33, cut a laidback figure in dark tracksuit bottoms and a brown zip-up jumper as he kept comfortable following his long-haul flight.

He completed his casual ensemble with a pair of orange sliders as he disembarked his private jet and walked across the tarmac.

The singer was seen taking a phone call shortly after arriving and put on an animated display as he chatted on the phone at the airport.

His arrival in Sydney came as excitement ramped up for his sold-out gig at the Allianz Stadium, his first stop on his Australian tour.

However, concertgoers were urged to plan ahead due to traffic delays after a double-fatal crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Thursday.

Four cars and a bus collided just before 2pm on Thursday with two men dying after the fatal crash and one pregnant woman rushed to hospital.

'One vehicle travelling in the northbound lanes has veered across into the traffic in the southbound lanes resulting in the initial collision and then a number of other collisions,' Acting Superintendent Clayton McDonald said.

Although the bridge reopened during the afternoon, concertgoers were urged to use public transport due to traffic delays amid significant congestion.

Transport for NSW Coordinator-General Howard Collins told a media conference: 'Even if the lanes reopen, there will be significant traffic to clear for the afternoon peak.'

'Advice for people if you're travelling into the city, particularly those people who are considering travelling obviously by road to the concert tonight at Moore Park, please think about alternative routes because the roads may well be either closed or still congested.'

More than 40,000 fans were expected to descend on the Allianz Stadium for Scott's sold-out concert.

Following his Sydney gig, he is set to travel on to Melbourne for a show at the Marvel Stadium on October 22.

Scott will then wrap things up on October 26 with his final Australian show at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.

Scott, who is the ex of Kylie Jenner, left some Aussies unimpressed when he revealed his list of concerts Down Under on his Circus Maximus world tour.

After revealing he would only be visiting Sydney , Melbourne , Brisbane and New Zealand, many fans were left fuming at having to travel to see him life.

Fans in Perth and Adelaide in particular were left disgruntled after he became the latest in a long line of global stars to skip over the Aussie cities on their tours.

'What about Perth?' one fan messaged the performer, while another added: 'Typical [that] Perth gets left out.'

The US leg of Scott's Circus Maximus World Tour has already earned the performer an eye-watering $27million, according to Perth Now.

Scott is not the first to skip over the WA capital while visiting Australia after Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift both failed to perform there.

The Jonas Brothers, Sam Smith and Charlie Puth also all left Perth fans out in the cold as they were forced to travel to the east coast to see them perform live.

Dua Lipa has also been hit by backlash in recent weeks for skipping over Brisbane and Perth on her upcoming 2025 tour.
